Happy Sunday guys! I can’t believe that another week is already over and that we are 1/3 through February. It’s the depths of winter here in Austria, with quite a bit of snow, often grey skies and temperatures below freezing. Can we already have spring please? I can’t wait. I enjoy snow for a bit, but after about 2-3 weeks I’m over it and want warmer temperatures back. I’ve been a busy bee this week – not only working on my thesis, but also working on lots of new projects for Curls’n’Chard as well. I can’t wait to show and tell you everything!
I also want to do more videos on YouTube, so far I only have one online. It’s going to be quite the challenge for me to actually put myself in front of the camera, but you should do something that scares you, right?! Is there anything in particular you would like to actually hear and see me talking about? I want to definitely do a ‘monthly picks’ video with ingredients/products/books I loved in the last month – all of it centered on natural wholesome nutrition and a sustainable lifestyle.
So, now to Instagram! If you looked through the pictures above, you might realize that I fell in love with pomegranate seeds and poppy seeds this week. Oh my. Vanilla porridge with poppy seeds and berries transports me back to days of skiing as a child where we would eat yeast dumplings filled with plum jam and lots of poppy seeds and butter or vanilla sauce for lunch (Germknödel mit Powidl, for all my lovely people who understand German!). Ah, the memories. I also finally got around to posting my Superfood Overnight Oats recipe here on the blog. The tahini mugcake will actually go online tomorrow, so stay tuned for this recipe!
What was the most popular picture last week? My pancakes! Well, I can tell by now that you guys really love pancakes. Then again, who doesn’t?
