Weekend Reading #11 Spring and Pasta Edition

Hey guys, it’s time for another Weekend Reading – Savory Reads edition! I didn’t intend to initially, but besides having some asparagus recipes in here, all but one are actually pasta recipes. Can you tell, I love pasta. 😉

Asparagus from Win-Win Food

Asparagus season is in full swing here right now, so how could I not have included asparagus in this roundup? Lucie from Win Win Food made such a simple, delicious vegan version of it, I absolutely love it. Steaming Asparagus and combining it with a cheeze sauce, let’s all the flavors come out in such a wonderful way. So head on over for her Steamed Asparagus with Creamy Cheeze Sauce recipe!

Pasta from Contentedness Cooking

Florian from Contentedness Cooking made this Zucchini Macadamia Crunched Pasta, which is such a genius idea. I would’ve never thought to include macadamia nuts in a pasta dish and with the zucchini and strawberries, it’s just a perfect spring and summer meal!

Pasta from Two Green Peas

Next up is the Lemon, Spinach and Asparagus Spaghettini recipe that Jessica from  Two Green Peas came up with. This just screams spring to me! Asparagus, lemon, and she also added sun dried tomatoes into the mix – a perfect light and spring like combination.

Pasta Salad from Veggies Don't Bite

Raise your hand if you like pasta salad! I’m pretty sure everyone’s hand is up right now, because, who doesn’t love pasta salad? Sophia from Veggies Don’t Bite made the perfect, simple Veggie Pasta Salad that’s not only perfect to bring to potlucks, but also a wonderful meal at home.

Lemon Pasta from Feasting on Fruit

Last but not least, let’s bring some sunshine on! Natalie from Feasting on Fruit made this ultimate Yellow Corn Pasta creation and I just had to share it with you guys. This just makes me so happy by just looking at it – so I hope it will make you happy too!

That’s it again for this week – what’s your must try recipe from this roundup? Let me know! Subscribe to my blog so you don’t miss a post and follow me on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & Pinterest, so you see my daily breakfast, peaks behind the scenes and what currently inspires me!
