Road Trippin’ down the West Coast (USA)

Road Tripping down the West Coast - San Francisco to Los Angeles (USA) |

Hey guys, how are you doing? I’m currently on my way to the west coast, where I will be for the next two weeks! I’m so excited, I as haven’t been to the west coast before. I will also take those two weeks off from blogging and pretty much social media as well, although I know myself, I probably can completely stay off ofย Facebook or Instagram. Oh well, and in case anyone wonders about the title, well, I grew up with Red Hot Chili Peppers ๐Ÿ˜‰

I will definitely update you and share my travels with you once I get back. This is our itinerary for this road trip down the west coast:

  • San Francisco
  • Monterey
  • Camping in the middle of Big Sur
  • Morro Bay
  • Los Angeles

Road Tripping down the West Coast - San Francisco to Los Angeles (USA) |

First we are going to spend a few days in San Francisco and then we will be driving down Highway 1 from San Francisco to L.A.. Stopping along the way and taking our time. I’m so excited for this road trip along the west coast,ย as the scenery seems to be breathtaking. Oh, and I’ve only once before driven an automatic car (last year in Mexico), so that’s going to be fun too. ๐Ÿ˜€ After this we will be staying in Los Angeles for a few days, with possible day trips to San Diego, Tijuana or even Las Vegas. Who knows!

Please let me know if you have recommendations for San Francisco, L.A. or anywhere between when it comes to food and things that we should not miss! Check Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat (curlsnchard) for updates from the road. Take care and see you soon. ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Thank you so much, Natalie! I did really have lots of fun, but it was also quite exhausting ๐Ÿ˜‰ I did take a ton of pics…over 1500 ๐Ÿ˜€ Now it’s time to sort through them!

  1. Yaaaayyy!
So excited your coming to my country, good ol ‘Merca!
And perfect place to road trip too because here on the east coast, it’s getting very fall-like and that’s always a downer ๐Ÿ˜€

    1. ‘Merica is one of my favorite places to be, so it was really fun being back. I was on the east coast for 3 weeks before I headed west, but it was still nice and warm then ๐Ÿ˜‰ Not as warm as in Cali though! Highway 1 was really perfect for this road trip – LA traffic, not so much fun after that ๐Ÿ˜€

    1. Ah, I think I can imagine ๐Ÿ˜‰ It was really an amazing trip, even though I was slightly underwhelmed by L.A. and also a bit disappointed by San Fran…nothing beats Highway 1 though…Big Sur and the whole coast line there is just breath taking!

    1. What do you miss most about San Fran? I’m always curious what people love/miss in the places they really enjoyed. I really enjoyed the whole trip, even though San Fran and L.A. did not wow me as much as I thought they would! ๐Ÿ™‚

    1. Das hast du recht! Mich hat es auch begeistert wie vielfรคltig es ist und da ich ein absoluter Kรผsten-Fan bin, war Big Sur natรผrlich umwerfend!

  2. I hope you had a great trip! The plan surely sounds amazing! I’ve only been to San Francisco and LA from the list of your itinerary. Oh and I hope you had a chance to visit Las Vegas, it was such a blast when I was there. I’m so excited to read more about your trip!

    1. It was a great trip! We didn’t go to Las Vegas this time – that’s up for another trip ๐Ÿ™‚ Thanks for stopping by, Bianca!
